One Last Ride Into the Sunset

School back, time to bust out yo best Shein. Time for new friends, new clothes, new learnin, and new mp3’s. As we look back at summer, we picked out some last minute tracks we’ve been loving. also.. u heard oasis is back? ill get a modcut if you do. Are your sambas even Wales? your favorite bisexual barista is finishing up their summer job, ask them out before their sublet ends

Our unwanted opinions about the songs in this playlist

Incognito – Justice

Feels like finding Han Solos stash of uppers in the glove box of the Millennium Falcon.

E poi – Mina

Can’t stop talking about your European Summer that you’ve been photo dumping for 3 weeks straight huh? Oh, you studied abroad in Florence? You only mentioned it 8 different times in the past 2 hours. Yes, I know how to pronounce Negroni Sbagliato and no you don’t need to keep following every drink order with Grazie, the waitress is literally Guatemalan. Yes, you have to tip her we’re in America.

Exmilitary - Jpegmafia

It’s midnight. You’re drunk. You need an E-Bike. Alas, you’re staring at the only broken regular citi bike at the very end of the dock like its a standoff in a 1940’s western bar.

A.D.D. S.U.V. (Armand Van Helden Club Remix) - Uffie

If I was mid rave in Ibiza right now… this song coming on would make me avoid taking a pill in Ibiza to show Avicii I was cool because like I would be on the mf dancefloor. Rip Avicci (not the brutalismus song…)

Livin’ Loose - George Clanton

I float, I reminisce, I become human.

Fiesta Noz – Les Glochos

Sometimes the best music is the music that you shazam in the backseat of an uber in a foreign land. ‘yO sEnD mE tHe sPoTiFy lInK’ Bro this is literally French – Argentine folk fusion only accessible by an esoteric MP3 rip on YouTube with an alternate spelling of the band name that makes its origins even more questionable. It fucks though.

Nuffin2say – Moderate Rock

I got Nuffin2Say. New York indie is in good hands

Gold Day - SparkleHorse

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm sunshine and morning dew straight to the sensories. Rest In Peace Mark Linkous.

Tienaté - Nu Genea

Plastic chair. One, two glass of red wine. Meat, Chesse, Bread. We in France baby. Idek if this song even good, it’s just pure vibes.

Im Blau - Wildlife

The algorithm blessed me with this trail. All hail our AI overlords.

Nation Feeling - Nation

Strawberrykissesirllylikeyourstrawberrykiss

Walk on the wild side - Lou Reed

This song just came on when we were leaving so it makes the list cause what an amazing walk out song.

Boytoy - EQ, Estratosfera & Qiri

Electronic act, early 2000’s imagery, looks like if  the iPod ads took a steroids/Ketamine combo and were styled by a girl who can play a ukulele crystal castles cover.  Good listen, looking forward to what comes of them.

Strobolights - Supercar

Supercar are a Japanese melodic rock band that were blending the sounds of guitars and computers back in the 90’s. Pretty cool off rip. This song never fails to release a bit of serotonin. Not to mention their names were Nakako, Miki, Junji, and Kodai. How fckin cute is that, doesn’t get more stoke really.

Trauma - 2hollis

Yeah I mean hollis has like blown up over the last year and I can say without hesitation he still never misses. Was gonna put something from the new album (boy) on here but chose this single bc the energy it gives me is has been pretty unmatched.

Homecoming - The Teenagers

I played this like 5 times while driving along the French Riviera with my girlfriend, now if I mutter more than two consecutive words from it she gets mad at me. All this to say, great song, unhinged English lyrics from Euro accents over a 2000s indie beat, great combo.

Too Young - Phoenix

If you’re having a good time, the kind where the joy you feel is profound, a little cinematic, has a tinge of sadness but in a way that heightens the sum of emotion you feel, and makes you love at least one person around you, then a Phoenix song is likely in the cue.
