Music in the Key of Life

In my ears, music is a key.

Each passage unlocks yet another fragment of our infinite consciousness, taking us through the bends of the personal, the shared, and the beyond that exists just past our thinly veiled reality.

Ever so often, you come across a slice of sound which raises every last follicle of hair on your body: the very essence of life itself electrifying you. Emotion in motion appealing to the richest segment of your soul, the segment that keeps your spirit living long past your death.

Here lie the moments that stamp classics.

These sounds that provide us life are amongst the greatest gifts we’ve received in this flawed existence. But like all that is coveted, these peaks are elusive and mostly fleeting. A minute glimpse into heaven. Lightning in a bottle.

Sometimes these snippets exist as bridges, outros, hooks, or most frustratingly, in the form of the sweetest singular chord to ever lay upon your ears. Some feel like an infinite love, some feel like a familiar past, some even feel like a future you haven’t reached yet. You’ll find that some transcend diction, and others are just simply fucking awesome.

As it is my personal mission to enrich my lovely readers with love, knowledge, and the gift of great music, I came up with the idea to crowd source the most transcendent slivers of music across all walks of life. Nothing Radio is a platform for discovery and connection, and with this project I hope to bring you all together through the beauty of sound.

To put this concept into perspective, let me share a few personal examples that are near and dear to me:

(2:54) TURiSTA - Bad Bunny | This is the sound of life in motion. A reflection of everything that led up to now and a vision of all that is to come. An all encompassing 15 seconds that serves as a reminder to make every moment count because they all fade away far too quick. This album has a few pockets like these but this one truly speaks to my soul.

(3:26) Empty (Extended Mix) - Jansons & Skream | Crack crack crack crack CRACK. This is audio ecstasy right here. One of those moments of pure euphoria that you don’t want to end. What a perfect bridge.

I implore you all to add to submit below a timestamp, it’s song, and a short description of how this moment makes you feel along with your initials or social media handles. This is a tool for music discovery, and who knows, maybe you’ll learn a little something or find your new favorite song. While I want to have as least limitations possible, these are snippets of a song we’re talking about so they should only be 30 seconds max.
